OUR DAY AT THE AQUARIUM

Janine and Rik invited us to go to the Fort Fisher Aquarium. We had a great time and I took tons of pics. Caleb and Gabe posing with the gator.

There was an octopus curled up in this hole.

These jelly fish were very cool to see.

We got to see divers in the tank and we could even ask them questions and hear them talk.
These huge lobsters were making me very hungry!

A very pretty purple tree frog.

It was almost time to see them feed the gators. They were all fighting for a spot in the sun.

This girl went in and started poking them with a net pole to get them into the water but this one was having a stand off.

So she got a bigger stick and the gator begrudgingly got into the water.

To display her displeasure she stayed to one side of the tank and refused to eat.

I am not sure if I would have been brave enough to stand there with all of those hungry gators at my feet.

Good job girls!

They were feeding them pieces of chicken.

Then they gave them special cookies loaded with all of the nutrients that they need.

After getting something to eat it was off to the park for some fun!
