OUR BAKUGAN BRAWLERS
On Saturday morning we took Gabe and Caleb to Toys R Us for a Bakugan Tournament. We had planned for them to just watch since they are not very familiar with the game. When we got there we were encouraged to let them play since they intended to teach the game to the kids. Since we did not bring their Bakugan and Toy R Us was out Daddy had to make a run across the street to Target.
This is why our Daddy rocks!
It was so cool to watch them play especially since the Bakugan cartoon is such a big deal to Gabe. Jim and I have spent many hours pretending to have Bakugan battles with Gabe and Caleb.
It was more than just a fun game for Gabe. It was like being a part of the cartoon. It was so awesome to watch them both!
Caleb dominated his battle winning all three! His opponent was a 12 year old girl. I was surprised to see all ages and sexes enjoying this game.
Gabe's opponent was a six year old girl and he won one battle and they tied twice.
Gabe is a bit of a sore sport and was upset at having tied. Naturally he was happy once Daddy explained he had won the tournament. I am working on his sportsmanship! Daddy is a bit of a sore loser as well but don't tell him that I said so!
A crowd had amassed to watch Caleb play his tournament. It was so much fun for the kids and the toys R Us employee that coordinated the event did a great job.

Pictures from our trip to the Moorehead Seafood Festival later in the day will follow. I forgot my camera so Janine did the picture taking.
