Last Saturday we went to Raleigh to attend the largest military tribute in the state since WWII. There was a parade, food and all military and their families had free admission to all of the museums. It was wonderful to see our military given the recognition that they and their families have earned!
Kylie and Kelis
Let the parade begin!

Kylie could not understand why these men were wearing skirts.
These Marines are from Camp Johnson.

This is the MARSOC ( Marine Special Operations Support Group) float. Jim is part of this command.

These are some of the wounded Marines from Camp Lejeune.

The front motorcycle has a memorial to the fallen soldier on the back. Notice the Marine Corps flag on the back of the second bike.
It was pretty impressive to see all these bikes riding in support of our military.
Here is Elizabeth Dole.
Gabe Bear and Caleb the spider.
Josh was a good sport wearing the dinosaur costume for a picture.
My bumblebee Caleb and lady bug Gabe.

My little butterflyNotice the little baby opossum tales hanging out of the pouch.
Caleb, Nick, Josh, Gabe and Jim having fun with puppets.
Nick and Josh playing with puppets.
I got one quick picture of Angel in the lady bug costume before my camera battery died. I confiscated Janines camera to take the rest since I am usually the one getting all the pictures while Janine and Jim play and Rik, well I'm not really sure what he does.
