MIKES FARM

Gabe had his first field trip today. His Special Needs Teacher asked that we not attend because one of his goals is to be able to stay with his class and having us there may make that hard. I explained to her how important it was for us to be part of this special day and that there was no way they would keep his Daddy from being there and we were granted permission to attend. We agreed to stay in the distance and encourage him to say with his class. As it turns out that was not a problem because our little guy wanted to hang with his classmates anyway. When asked by his teacher if he would like to sit with Mom and Dad on the hayride he said no. It has been difficult letting him go and not be so protective but it amazes us how much he has grown in these past few months. We are extremely proud of our Little Bare!
